Who I Am

From Gwalior to Dholpur — A Beauty Journey

I am Akanksha Sharma, a professional beauty artist and the founder of Akanksha Sharma Beauty Parlour and Academy in Dholpur, Rajasthan. My journey in the beauty industry began in 2019 in Gwalior, where I completed my basic and advanced makeup training. From there, I moved to Delhi and Noida (2023-2024), working in established professional salons — learning client handling, time management, and industry-standard techniques.

The most transformative chapter of my career came in 2025-2026 when I trained under Parul Garg, one of India's most respected celebrity makeup artists. That experience reshaped my entire approach to bridal and professional makeup. In 2026, I launched my own brand near Badaa Peer, Purana Shahar, Dholpur — bringing honest, professional beauty services and skill training to my hometown.

How It All Started

2019-2020 — Gwalior

Beauty Training Begins

Completed basic and advanced makeup courses. Built the foundation of a professional beauty career.

2021-2022 — Dholpur

First Steps at Home

Returned to Dholpur and started taking small bookings — family functions, local events, building trust with clients.

2023-2024 — Delhi & Noida

Professional Salon Experience

Worked in established beauty salons. Learned professional workflow, client consultation, and advanced makeup techniques.

2025-2026 — Parul Garg Training

Advanced Bridal Artistry

Received advanced bridal makeup training from celebrity makeup artist Parul Garg. A career-defining experience that transformed my approach.

2026 — Dholpur

Own Brand Launched

Opened Akanksha Sharma Beauty Parlour and Academy near Badaa Peer, Purana Shahar — a space dedicated to honest beauty services and women's skill development.

My most significant learning experience came in 2025-2026 when I trained under Parul Garg, a celebrity makeup artist whose work I had admired for years. Training under her guidance transformed my understanding of bridal makeup.

Along with this, I hold multiple certifications in hair styling, skin care, salon management, and advanced makeup techniques. But more than certificates, I value the real-world experience gained from working with hundreds of faces across different cities.

Mission & Vision

My Mission: To provide professional, hygienic, and honest beauty services to women in Dholpur and nearby areas — without the hype and over-promising that has become common in the beauty industry.

My Vision: To make Dholpur a place where women don't need to travel to big cities for quality beauty education. Through my academy, launched in 2026, I want to train and empower local girls — giving them the skills and confidence to build independent careers.
