Where is Akanksha Sharma Beauty Parlour located in Dholpur?
We are at 200, Ward No.22, Khod Khidki Mohalla, Near Badaa Peer, Purana Shahar, Dholpur, Rajasthan — 328001. The parlour is easy to find — just ask for Badaa Peer in Purana Shahar.
What are the parlour timings?
We are open from 9 AM to 10 PM, Monday to Sunday. This includes all public holidays. Evening slots are available for working women and college students.
Is parking available near the parlour?
Yes, there is ample street parking available near the parlour. Since we are located in Purana Shahar, auto-rickshaws and two-wheelers can easily reach us.
Do I need to book an appointment before visiting?
Walk-ins are always welcome. However, we strongly recommend booking in advance for bridal makeup, weekend slots, and pre-bridal packages so we can dedicate enough time to you.

Bridal Makeup

What are the bridal makeup charges?
Normal Bridal Makeup is Rs.15,000, HD Makeup is Rs.21,000, and Signature Makeup is Rs.31,000. Every package includes a pre-bridal trial session where we finalize your look before the wedding day.
Is the trial session included in the bridal package?
Yes, a pre-bridal trial is included with every bridal makeup package. During the trial, we discuss your preferences, try different looks, and settle on the one that makes you feel most beautiful.
How long does bridal makeup take?
Bridal makeup typically takes 2 to 3 hours depending on the complexity of the look. We recommend starting at least 3 hours before you need to be ready, so there is no rush.
What is the difference between Normal, HD, and Signature makeup?
Normal is traditional bridal makeup with standard products. HD uses high-definition products that look flawless in photos and videos. Signature is our most premium package with airbrush techniques, premium products, and extended consultation.
Do you provide makeup for the bridal party as well?
Yes, we offer makeup services for bridesmaids, family members, and the bridal party. Pricing depends on the number of people and the type of makeup required. Contact us for a group quote.

Facial, Cleanup & Skin Care

What types of facials do you offer?
We offer 8 types: Fruit Facial (Rs.500), Gold Facial (Rs.750), Diamond Facial (Rs.900), Lotus Facial (Rs.900), VLCC Facial (Rs.1,000), Aroma Facial (Rs.1,200), O3+ Facial (Rs.2,000), and Casmara Facial (Rs.3,000).
Which facial is best for brides?
For brides, we recommend O3+ or Casmara Facial as they provide deep nourishment and a visible glow. Ideally, start your facial sessions 2-3 months before the wedding for the best results.
How often should I get a facial?
For normal skin, once a month is ideal. If you have specific skin concerns like acne or pigmentation, we may recommend a customized schedule. Our beautician will guide you after examining your skin.
What is the difference between a cleanup and a facial?
A cleanup is a basic treatment — cleansing, scrubbing, and mask application. A facial includes massage, deeper cleansing, and specialized products for your skin type. Cleanups start from Rs.250, facials from Rs.500.

Hair Services

What hair spa treatments do you offer?
We offer Matrix Hair Spa (Rs.750), Loreal Hair Spa (Rs.1,000), and Wella Hair Spa (Rs.1,200). Each uses professional products to deeply condition and repair damaged hair.
What are the hair cut charges?
Hair cuts start from Rs.80 for a straight cut and go up to Rs.400 for an advance cut. We offer 9 different cut styles — our stylist will help you choose based on your face shape and preference.
Do you offer hair coloring services?
Yes, we offer Matrix Colour (Rs.1,000), Loreal Colour (Rs.1,500), and Wella Colour (Rs.2,000). A strand test is done before coloring to ensure no allergic reactions.

Waxing, Threading & Body Care

What waxing services are available?
We offer Full Face Waxing (Rs.200), Hand Wax (Rs.200), Half Leg Wax (Rs.250), Rica Wax (Rs.750), and Full Body Rica Wax (Rs.2,000). We use high-quality wax for minimal discomfort.
What are the threading charges?
Threading starts at Rs.30 for eyebrows, Rs.10 for upper lip, Rs.15 for chin, and Rs.150 for full face threading. Our threaders are experienced and gentle.
Do you offer manicure and pedicure?
Yes, manicure is Rs.500 and pedicure is Rs.500. We also offer full body polishing at Rs.2,000 for complete skin smoothening.
What bleach options do you have?
Normal Bleach (Rs.150), Gold Bleach (Rs.200), Diamond Bleach (Rs.220), O3+ Bleach (Rs.300), and Full Body Bleach (Rs.2,000). All bleaches are done with careful skin preparation.

Pre-Bridal Packages

What is included in the Regular Pre-Bridal Package?
The Regular Package (Rs.6,000) includes Full Hand Wax, Half Leg Wax, 3 Facial Bleach sessions, 1 Hair Spa, Manicure, and Pedicure. Perfect for brides on a budget.
What is the difference between Advance and Luxury packages?
The Advance Package (Rs.8,000) adds Full Body Wax and Body Polishing. The Luxury Package (Rs.10,000) includes everything in Advance plus Full Body Bleach and Hair Cutting. Choose based on your needs.
When should I start my pre-bridal package before the wedding?
We recommend starting at least 15-20 days before the wedding. This allows time for all sessions to be completed comfortably. The final facial should be done 2-3 days before the wedding.
Can I customize a pre-bridal package?
Absolutely. If you need to add or swap services, we can create a custom package for you. Contact us to discuss your requirements and we'll quote a fair price.

Home Service & On-Location

Do you provide home service for beauty treatments?
Yes, we offer home service within Dholpur city for select treatments. Charges depend on the service and distance. Contact us to check availability for your area.
Do you travel outside Dholpur for bridal makeup?
Yes, we provide on-location bridal services in Bari, Rajakhera, Baseri, Morena, Agra, Bharatpur, and nearby areas. Travel charges apply based on distance and are communicated before booking.
What do I need to arrange for home service?
We bring our complete professional kit. You just need to provide a comfortable chair, good lighting (preferably near a window), and a power plug point for any electrical tools.

Beauty Academy & Courses

What courses does the academy offer?
Basic Makeup (15 days), Advanced Bridal Makeup (30 days), Hair Styling & Hair Care, Skin Care & Facial Techniques, Salon Management & Business Setup, and Short-Term Weekend Workshops. One-on-one training is also available.
Who teaches the courses?
All courses are personally conducted by Akanksha Sharma, who has 5+ years of professional experience and advanced training from celebrity makeup artist Parul Garg.
Do I get a certificate after completing the course?
Yes, every student receives a certificate upon successful completion. This certificate can be used when applying for salon positions or starting your own beauty business.
Can I learn part-time or on weekends?
Yes, we offer weekend batches and flexible timing for working women and college students. Customized one-on-one training schedules are also available.
Is there practical training or only theory?
Our academy operates inside a real working parlour. You practice on live models, observe actual client sessions, and assist in bridal assignments — not just theory on dummy heads.

Pricing & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), and bank transfers. Payment is typically taken after the service is completed. For bridal bookings, a small advance may be requested.
Are there any hidden charges?
No. Every price listed on our website and discussed during consultation is final. The only additional cost is travel charges for on-location services, which we always inform before booking.
Do you offer any discounts?
We occasionally offer seasonal discounts, bridal offers, and combo deals. Follow us on Instagram @akankshasharma.makeup or ask during your visit about current promotions.
Can I get a refund if I cancel?
For regular services, there is no cancellation charge if you inform us at least 24 hours in advance. For bridal bookings, the advance amount is adjustable if rescheduled — refund policies are discussed at the time of booking.

Products & Hygiene

What brands do you use for makeup and skincare?
We use professional brands including Matrix, Loreal, Wella, VLCC, O3+, Casmara, Lotus, Raga, and Rica. All products are authentic and dermatologically tested for Indian skin types.
How do you maintain hygiene at the parlour?
All tools are sterilized after every use. Disposable items like wax strips, cotton, and tissues are used wherever possible. The entire parlour is cleaned and sanitized daily to maintain a spotless environment.
Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, we use gentle and hypoallergenic products. Before any facial or bleach, we always do a patch test if you have sensitive or allergy-prone skin. Please inform our beautician about any known allergies.
